- You should do most of your base and main training in the first pair and alternate with faster shoes on days when speed and pace are important.
- You want to start using these shoes about 4-6 weeks before your long run.
- That way, you can adjust the comfort of the shoes for longer runs, and if they don’t fit, you have time to make adjustments.
- During the cycle, there are fewer speed days, so the shoes can be ready on race day.
